TOMBSTONE
"The Town Too Tough to Die" lies 20 miles east of Mountain
View RV Park. Stroll the boardwalks or tour by stagecoach to experience
the town where some of the Wild West's most notorious figures once
roamed, of Wyatt Earp, DocHolliday and the Clantons. Tombstone
remains today much as it was during the 1880s. This was the site which
ended the Earp and Clanton feud with the infamous "Gunfight at
the OK Corral." See the Birdcage Theater, Crystal Palace Saloon,
Boothill Cemetery, OK Corral, Tombstone Epitaph Newspaper and the County
Courthouse with the somber execution scaffold in the courtyard. The
town continues as a living museum and welcomes visitors to a variety
of daily re-enactments and events throughout the year. Click here to
visit the Tombstone Chamber of Commerce online.
